Based on Need. Today's world of communications is a mosaic of emails, voice conversations, text messaging, facebook and twitter postings. Email brings everyone in the entire email universe into your space and then you spend a lot of time filtering out the "noise" emails, typically consuming time to get to your pertinent emails. Voice conversations rarely get recorded for future reference, text messaging is limited to "one–on–one" or "one–to–many", which creates gaps in communications continuity and again, difficult to efficiently save for future reference. Facebook, twitter, and other popular social networks are focused on connecting people socially, or in relationship with a brand. These are not places in which you can discuss private and sensitive information and focus a group to accomplish an objective.

Rarely, does all of the above come together in a coherent fashion and easy to understand, without having to mentally connect the "dots" or trying to physically put all pertinent data into folders that can become overwhelming over time. Tracking historical data becomes a very time–consuming ordeal.

What is needed today is a tool that offers structure in an unstructured environment. Rofori was designed to bring order to a dispersed and chaotic communications environment. Built on15 years of project communications management experience – with roots in developing leading–edge applications for the federal government, and provisioning Software-as-a-Service based commercial applications – we sought to create an application with a user–configurable, intuitive design that was "the right product at the right time" for today's oversaturated, noise–filled data and communications environment.
