Creating Accounts
Stream member accounts are established for individuals using their designated email address. There are no limits to a member's login email address with respect to being invited to participate in a stream. This allows increased flexibility in our virtual networked world.
Stream Owner
Manages read, discussion creation, upload/download, and search results export rights. The stream owner can also view the message notification settings for each stream member.
Streams Directory and Collaboration
See what is being discussed and collaborated across the organization. See a LinkedIn profile of the stream owner who is moderating each stream.
Console Monitor Alerts
Stream members can set up their console to receive alerts in up to three monitors. Each monitor can be set up to activate an alert based on selective members posting, selective message types, graphic representation of message types per the frequency period selected, or external email forwarded to the rofori Inbox.
InBox
The rofori Inbox is a personal communications space where system messages are delivered from the organization administrator. External email can also be forwarded into the rofori Inbox for viewing and placement into an applicable stream.
File Storage, Sharing and Management
Stream members or the organization administrator can elect to use rofori and/or Dropbox for file storage. All stream members can view all of the files in their stream. Files uploaded can be up to 150MB per file. Multiple files can be loaded simultaneously per message. Files can be sorted by name, description, and date. Stream owners have the option to rename or remove files.
Streams Listing and Activity
See all of the streams you are a member of and the activity summary (Urgent and New messages) for the past 24 hours. Also, optional “alias” renaming of streams for personal navigation and option to list “Favorite” streams in the navigation panel.
Groups within Streams
Viewing rights can be selected based on group assignment. For example, stream members invited into a customer group will not see messages checked “Internal Only”.
Public Stream
The organization administrator can create a public stream which automatically assigns all stream members to the new stream. Inclusion of Groups is optional.
Message Notifications
Stream members can select "Urgent" message alerts by email, text message, or both. Members can choose to receive emails for Daily Stream Activity Summary and Console Monitor Alerts.
Message Templates
Message templates are designed to allow modification per the dynamics of the communications in the stream. The stream owner may decide to add another message type, remove an unused message type, add more categories, or add discussions to structure the capture of knowledge in the stream. Message templates can be saved with the option to apply to new streams.
Security
The information in your stream is safe. The stream owner controls who is invited to participate in the stream and only invited members will see your stream messages and can access your stream documents. The existence of your stream will only be known to others if you publish the stream in your organization's Stream Directory. Rofori implements tight session management and information access controls to protect your sensitive stream information. Rofori utilizes security measures similar to the online banking industry. There is no advertising in rofori, so your stream content is never scanned for someone else's benefit.
Search
Stream members can free text search any of the messages in the streams in which they are members. A base search is available to search by the default fields and message types constructed in each stream. An advanced search further refines the search by all components in the message template. Rofori dynamically aligns to the defined message template for each stream for both Basic and Advanced search. Search results can be exported with the results emailed as a csv file to the stream member.
Message Display
Messages are displayed with visual indicators of message types and system alert indicators, so the nature of the message can be determined at a glance. Related messages are also displayed .
Graphics Analysis
Stream owners can generate graphics of message response trends by message type, category, stream members (all or selective), across time. Various charts can be selected including horizontal bar, vertical bar, trending line, and stacked.
Organization Administrator
The Organization Administrator can create new streams, rename existing streams, remove stream members from the organization, replace or reassign stream owners, and change member passwords. The administrator can also establish the Dropbox storage settings at the organization level and view organizational metrics for total file storage used, total number of members from inside or outside the organizations, and total members by groups.
